1 Chronicles 3 דִּבְרֵי הַיָּמִים א

¹וְאֵ֤לֶּה הָיוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י דָויִ֔ד אֲשֶׁ֥ר נֽוֹלַד־ל֖וֹ בְּחֶבְר֑וֹן הַבְּכ֣וֹר ׀ אַמְנֹ֗ן לַאֲחִינֹ֨עַם֙ הַיִּזְרְעֵאלִ֔ית שֵׁנִי֙ דָּנִיֵּ֔אל לַאֲבִיגַ֖יִל הַֽכַּרְמְלִֽית׃

ve'elle hayu bene davyid asher nolad-lo bechevron habbekhor amnon la'achino'am hayyizre'elit sheni daniyyel la'avigayil hakkarmelit

1Now these were the sons of David, that were born unto him in Hebron: the first-born, Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second, Daniel, of Abigail the Carmelitess;

²הַשְּׁלִשִׁי֙ לְאַבְשָׁל֣וֹם בֶּֽן־מַעֲכָ֔ה בַּת־תַּלְמַ֖י מֶ֣לֶךְ גְּשׁ֑וּר הָרְבִיעִ֖י אֲדֹנִיָּ֥ה בֶן־חַגִּֽית׃

hashelishi le'avshalom ben-ma'akha bat-talmay melekh geshur harvi'i adoniyya ven-chaggit

2the third, Absalom the son of Maacah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur; the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith;

³הַחֲמִישִׁ֥י שְׁפַטְיָ֖ה לַאֲבִיטָ֑ל הַשִּׁשִּׁ֥י יִתְרְעָ֖ם לְעֶגְלָ֥ה אִשְׁתּֽוֹ׃

hachamishi shefatya la'avital hashishi yitre'am le'egla ishto

3the fifth, Shephatiah of Abital; the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife.

⁴שִׁשָּׁה֙ נֽוֹלַד־ל֣וֹ בְחֶבְר֔וֹן וַיִּ֨מְלָךְ־שָׁ֔ם שֶׁ֥בַע שָׁנִ֖ים וְשִׁשָּׁ֣ה חֳדָשִׁ֑ים וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֤ים וְשָׁלוֹשׁ֙ שָׁנָ֔ה מָלַ֖ךְ בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

shisha nolad-lo vechevron vayyimlakh-sham sheva' shanim veshisha chodashim usheloshim veshalosh shana malakh birushalam

4Six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months; and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years.

⁵וְאֵ֥לֶּה נוּלְּדוּ־ל֖וֹ בִּירוּשָׁלָ֑יִם שִׁ֠מְעָא וְשׁוֹבָ֞ב וְנָתָ֤ן וּשְׁלֹמֹה֙ אַרְבָּעָ֔ה לְבַת־שׁ֖וּעַ בַּת־עַמִּיאֵֽל׃

ve'elle nuldu-lo birushalayim shim'a veshovav venatan ushelomo arba'a levat-shua bat-ammi'el

5And these were born unto him in Jerusalem: Shimea, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bath-shua the daughter of Ammiel;

⁶וְיִבְחָ֥ר וֶאֱלִישָׁמָ֖ע וֶאֱלִיפָֽלֶט׃

veyivchar ve'elishama' ve'elifalet

6and Ibhar, and Elishama, and Eliphelet;

⁷וְנֹ֥גַהּ וְנֶ֖פֶג וְיָפִֽיעַ׃

venogah venefeg veyafia

7and Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia;

⁸וֶאֱלִישָׁמָ֧ע וְאֶלְיָדָ֛ע וֶאֱלִיפֶ֖לֶט תִּשְׁעָֽה׃

ve'elishama' ve'elyada' ve'elifelet tish'a

8and Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine.

⁹כֹּ֖ל בְּנֵ֣י דָוִ֑יד מִלְּבַ֥ד בְּֽנֵי־פִֽילַגְשִׁ֖ים וְתָמָ֥ר אֲחוֹתָֽם׃

kol bene david millevad bene-filagshim vetamar achotam

9All these were the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines; and Tamar was their sister.

¹⁰וּבֶן־שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה רְחַבְעָ֑ם אֲבִיָּ֥ה בְנ֛וֹ אָסָ֥א בְנ֖וֹ יְהוֹשָׁפָ֥ט בְּנֽוֹ׃

uven-shelomo rechav'am aviyya veno asa veno yehoshafat beno

10And Solomon’s son was Rehoboam; Abijah his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son;

¹¹יוֹרָ֥ם בְּנ֛וֹ אֲחַזְיָ֥הוּ בְנ֖וֹ יוֹאָ֥שׁ בְּנֽוֹ׃

yoram beno achazyahu veno yo'ash beno

11Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son;

¹²אֲמַצְיָ֧הוּ בְנ֛וֹ עֲזַרְיָ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ יוֹתָ֥ם בְּנֽוֹ׃

amatzyahu veno azarya veno yotam beno

12Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son;

¹³אָחָ֥ז בְּנ֛וֹ חִזְקִיָּ֥הוּ בְנ֖וֹ מְנַשֶּׁ֥ה בְנֽוֹ׃

achaz beno chizkiyyahu veno menashe veno

13Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son;

¹⁴אָמ֥וֹן בְּנ֖וֹ יֹאשִׁיָּ֥הוּ בְנֽוֹ׃

amon beno yoshiyyahu veno

14Amon his son, Josiah his son.

¹⁵וּבְנֵי֙ יֹאשִׁיָּ֔הוּ הַבְּכוֹר֙ יוֹחָנָ֔ן הַשֵּׁנִ֖י יְהוֹיָקִ֑ים הַשְּׁלִשִׁי֙ צִדְקִיָּ֔הוּ הָרְבִיעִ֖י שַׁלּֽוּם׃

uvene yoshiyyahu habbekhor yochanan hasheni yehoyakim hashelishi tzidkiyyahu harvi'i shallum

15And the sons of Josiah: the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum. .

¹⁶וּבְנֵ֖י יְהוֹיָקִ֑ים יְכָנְיָ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ צִדְקִיָּ֥ה בְנֽוֹ׃

uvene yehoyakim yekhanya veno tzidkiyya veno

16And the sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son.

¹⁷וּבְנֵי֙ יְכָנְיָ֣ה אַסִּ֔ר שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵ֖ל בְּנֽוֹ׃

uvene yekhanya assir she'alti'el beno

17And the sons of Jeconiah—the same is Assir—Shealtiel his son;

¹⁸וּמַלְכִּירָ֥ם וּפְדָיָ֖ה וְשֶׁנְאַצַּ֑ר יְקַמְיָ֥ה הוֹשָׁמָ֖ע וּנְדַבְיָֽה׃

umalkiram ufedaya veshen'atzar yekamya hoshama' unedavya

18and Malchiram, and Pedaiah, and Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

¹⁹וּבְנֵ֣י פְדָיָ֔ה זְרֻבָּבֶ֖ל וְשִׁמְעִ֑י וּבֶן־זְרֻבָּבֶל֙ מְשֻׁלָּ֣ם וַחֲנַנְיָ֔ה וּשְׁלֹמִ֖ית אֲחוֹתָֽם׃

uvene fedaya zerubbavel veshim'i uven-zerubbavel meshullam vachananya ushelomit achotam

19And the sons of Pedaiah: Zerubbabel, and Shimei. And the sons of Zerubbabel: Meshullam, and Hananiah; and Shelomith was their sister;

²⁰וַחֲשֻׁבָ֡ה וָ֠אֹהֶל וּבֶרֶכְיָ֧ה וַֽחֲסַדְיָ֛ה י֥וּשַׁב חֶ֖סֶד חָמֵֽשׁ׃

vachashuva va'ohel uverekhya vachasadya yushav chesed chamesh

20and Hashubah and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushabhesed, five.

²¹וּבֶן־חֲנַנְיָ֖ה פְּלַטְיָ֣ה וִישַֽׁעְיָ֑ה בְּנֵ֤י רְפָיָה֙ בְּנֵ֣י אַרְנָ֔ן בְּנֵ֥י עֹבַדְיָ֖ה בְּנֵ֥י שְׁכַנְיָֽה׃

uven-chananya pelatya visha'ya bene refaya bene arnan bene ovadya bene shekhanya

21And the sons of Hananiah: Pelatiah, and Jeshaiah; the sons of [Jeshaiah]: Rephaiah; the sons of [Rephaiah]: Arnan; the sons of [Arnan]: Obadiah; the sons of [Obadiah]: Shecaniah.

²²וּבְנֵ֥י שְׁכַנְיָ֖ה שְׁמַעְיָ֑ה וּבְנֵ֣י שְׁמַעְיָ֗ה חַטּ֡וּשׁ וְ֠יִגְאָל וּבָרִ֧יחַ וּנְעַרְיָ֛ה וְשָׁפָ֖ט שִׁשָּֽׁה׃

uvene shekhanya shema'ya uvene shema'ya chattush veyig'al uvariach une'arya veshafat shisha

22And the sons of Shecaniah: Shemaiah; and the sons of Shemaiah: Hattush, and Igal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six.

²³וּבֶן־נְעַרְיָ֗ה אֶלְיוֹעֵינַ֧י וְחִזְקִיָּ֛ה וְעַזְרִיקָ֖ם שְׁלֹשָֽׁה׃

uven-ne'arya elyo'enay vechizkiyya ve'azrikam shelosha

23And the sons of Neariah: Elioenai, and Hizkiah, and Azrikam, three.

²⁴וּבְנֵ֣י אֶלְיוֹעֵינַ֗י הדיוהו [הוֹדַוְיָ֡הוּ] וְאֶלְיָשִׁ֡יב וּפְלָיָ֡ה וְ֠עַקּוּב וְיוֹחָנָ֧ן וּדְלָיָ֛ה וַעֲנָ֖נִי שִׁבְעָֽה׃

uvene elyo'enay hodavyahu ve'elyashiv ufelaya ve'akkuv veyochanan udelaya va'anani shiv'a

24And the sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Delaiah, and Anani, seven.
