Privacy
In plain words
Exploring faith can be risky in some families and communities. We built JewTok so you can read, watch and ask without anyone knowing.
Anonymous by default
You don't need an account to read, watch or use Ask. We don't ask for your name.
No trackers
No advertising pixels, no cookies for analytics, no fingerprinting.
Counting visits
We count visits in aggregate only, through our network's own statistics service: totals per page per day, how many people opened Ask, broad performance numbers. No visitor id, no session trail, no city, region or network, and never anything you type. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is counted at all.
What we store
Saved items stay on your own device (in your browser's local storage), not on our servers. Questions to the AI guide are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to get an answer; we keep only counts and, for safety, a short-lived hash of your connection to limit abuse. We never store your IP address in readable form.
Videos
Testimony videos load from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com) only after you press play.
Private mode
Turn on Private mode from the menu: we won't save anything on your device, not even saved items.
Quick exit
The Quick exit button (or pressing Esc twice) clears this page, replaces it in your history and opens Google.
No data sales
We never sell or share your data. Ever.
Contact
Questions about privacy: please contact us via the form on the Ask page (/ask). We never publish email addresses.
