Luke 1:31-33 Behold, you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and shall name him ‘Yeshua.’ He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever. There will be no end to his Kingdom.”

Hebrews 1:5 For to which of the angels did he say at any time, “You are my Son. Today I have become your father?” and again, “I will be to him a Father, and he will be to me a Son?”

Acts 2:30 Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, he would raise up the Messiah to sit on his throne,

How rabbinic tradition reads it

All Jewish tradition expects the Messiah to be a son of David (Mashiach ben David), the basis of the daily Amidah blessing for the sprouting of David's branch (Et Tzemach David).

Why Messianic Jews read it as Yeshua

Luke records the angel's words to Miriam (Mary): God will give her son "the throne of his father David", and he will reign forever.
