Acts 4:25-27 who by the mouth of your servant David, said, ‘Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers plot together, against the Lord, and against his Messiah.’ “For truly, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together against your holy servant Yeshua, whom you anointed,
Hebrews 1:5 For to which of the angels did he say at any time, “You are my Son. Today I have become your father?” and again, “I will be to him a Father, and he will be to me a Son?”
Matthew 3:17 Behold, a voice out of the heavens said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
How rabbinic tradition reads it
The Talmud (Sukkah 52a) applies Psalm 2:8 to Messiah son of David. Later commentators (Rashi) read it of David himself, partly, he says, as an answer to Christian readings.
Why Messianic Jews read it as Yeshua
"Anointed" is mashiach. The psalm ends, "Kiss the son", trusting in him. The apostles prayed this psalm about Yeshua's trial.
