¹וּבִ֨נְיָמִ֔ן הוֹלִ֖יד אֶת־בֶּ֣לַע בְּכֹר֑וֹ אַשְׁבֵּל֙ הַשֵּׁנִ֔י וְאַחְרַ֖ח הַשְּׁלִישִֽׁי׃

uvinyamin holid et-bela' bekhoro ashbel hasheni ve'achrach hashelishi

And Benjamin begot Bela his first-born, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third;

²נוֹחָה֙ הָֽרְבִיעִ֔י וְרָפָ֖א הַחֲמִישִֽׁי׃

nocha harvi'i verafa hachamishi

Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.

³וַיִּהְי֥וּ בָנִ֖ים לְבָ֑לַע אַדָּ֥ר וְגֵרָ֖א וַאֲבִיהֽוּד׃

vayyihyu vanim levala' addar vegera va'avihud

And Bela had sons, Addar, and Gera, and Abihud;

⁴וַאֲבִישׁ֥וּעַ וְנַעֲמָ֖ן וַאֲחֽוֹחַ׃

va'avishua vena'aman va'achoach

and Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah;

⁵וְגֵרָ֥א וּשְׁפוּפָ֖ן וְחוּרָֽם׃

vegera ushefufan vechuram

and Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.

⁶וְאֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֣י אֵח֑וּד אֵ֣לֶּה הֵ֞ם רָאשֵׁ֤י אָבוֹת֙ לְי֣וֹשְׁבֵי גֶ֔בַע וַיַּגְל֖וּם אֶל־מָנָֽחַת׃

ve'elle bene echud elle hem rashe avot leyoshve geva' vayyaglum el-manachat

And these are the sons of Ehud—these are the heads of fathers’houses of the inhabitants of Geba, and they were carried captive to Manahath;

⁷וְנַעֲמָ֧ן וַאֲחִיָּ֛ה וְגֵרָ֖א ה֣וּא הֶגְלָ֑ם וְהוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־עֻזָּ֖א וְאֶת־אֲחִיחֻֽד׃

vena'aman va'achiyya vegera hu heglam veholid et-uzza ve'et-achichud

and Naaman, and Ahijah, and Gera, were they that carried them captive—and he begot Uzza, and Ahihud.

⁸וְשַׁחֲרַ֗יִם הוֹלִיד֙ בִּשְׂדֵ֣ה מוֹאָ֔ב מִן־שִׁלְח֖וֹ אֹתָ֑ם חוּשִׁ֥ים וְאֶֽת־בַּעֲרָ֖א נָשָֽׁיו׃

veshacharayim holid bisde mo'av min-shilcho otam chushim ve'et-ba'ara nashav

And Shaharaim begot children in the field of Moab, after he had sent them away, to wit, Hushim and Baara his wives;

⁹וַיּ֖וֹלֶד מִן־חֹ֣דֶשׁ אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ אֶת־יוֹבָב֙ וְאֶת־צִבְיָ֔א וְאֶת־מֵישָׁ֖א וְאֶת־מַלְכָּֽם׃

vayyoled min-chodesh ishto et-yovav ve'et-tzivya ve'et-mesha ve'et-malkam

he begot of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcam;

¹⁰וְאֶת־יְע֥וּץ וְאֶת־שָֽׂכְיָ֖ה וְאֶת־מִרְמָ֑ה אֵ֥לֶּה בָנָ֖יו רָאשֵׁ֥י אָבֽוֹת׃

ve'et-ye'utz ve'et-sakhya ve'et-mirma elle vanav rashe avot

and Jeuz, and Sachiah, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of fathers’houses.

¹¹וּמֵחֻשִׁ֛ים הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־אֲבִיט֖וּב וְאֶת־אֶלְפָּֽעַל׃

umechushim holid et-avituv ve'et-elpa'al

and of Hushim he begot Abitub, and Elpaal.

¹²וּבְנֵ֣י אֶלְפַּ֔עַל עֵ֥בֶר וּמִשְׁעָ֖ם וָשָׁ֑מֶד ה֚וּא בָּנָ֣ה אֶת־אוֹנ֔וֹ וְאֶת־לֹ֖ד וּבְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃

uvene elpa'al ever umish'am vashamed hu bana et-ono ve'et-lod uvenoteha

And the sons of Elpaal: Eber, and Misham, and Shemed, who built Ono, and Lod, with the towns thereof;

¹³וּבְרִעָ֣ה וָשֶׁ֔מַע הֵ֚מָּה רָאשֵׁ֣י הָאָב֔וֹת לְיוֹשְׁבֵ֖י אַיָּל֑וֹן הֵ֥מָּה הִבְרִ֖יחוּ אֶת־י֥וֹשְׁבֵי גַֽת׃

uveri'a vashema' hemma rashe ha'avot leyoshve ayyalon hemma hivrichu et-yoshve gat

and Beriah, and Shema, who were heads of fathers’houses of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who put to flight the inhabitants of Gath.

¹⁴וְאַחְי֥וֹ שָׁשָׁ֖ק וִירֵמֽוֹת׃

ve'achyo shashak viremot

And Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth;

¹⁵וּזְבַדְיָ֥ה וַעֲרָ֖ד וָעָֽדֶר׃

uzevadya va'arad va'ader

and Zebadiah, and Arad, and Eder;

¹⁶וּמִיכָאֵ֧ל וְיִשְׁפָּ֛ה וְיוֹחָ֖א בְּנֵ֥י בְרִיעָֽה׃

umikha'el veyishpa veyocha bene veri'a

and Michael, and Ishpah, and Joha, were the sons of Beriah.

¹⁷וּזְבַדְיָ֥ה וּמְשֻׁלָּ֖ם וְחִזְקִ֥י וָחָֽבֶר׃

uzevadya umeshullam vechizki vachaver

And Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hizki, and Heber;

¹⁸וְיִשְׁמְרַ֧י וְיִזְלִיאָ֛ה וְיוֹבָ֖ב בְּנֵ֥י אֶלְפָּֽעַל׃

veyishmeray veyizli'a veyovav bene elpa'al

and Ishmerai, and Izliah, and Jobab, were the sons of Elpaal.

¹⁹וְיָקִ֥ים וְזִכְרִ֖י וְזַבְדִּֽי׃

veyakim vezikhri vezavdi

And Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi;

²⁰וֶאֱלִיעֵנַ֥י וְצִלְּתַ֖י וֶאֱלִיאֵֽל׃

ve'eli'enay vetzilletay ve'eli'el

and Elienai, and Zillethai, and Eliel;

²¹וַעֲדָיָ֧ה וּבְרָאיָ֛ה וְשִׁמְרָ֖ת בְּנֵ֥י שִׁמְעִֽי׃

va'adaya uveraya veshimrat bene shim'i

and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, were the sons of Shimei.

²²וְיִשְׁפָּ֥ן וָעֵ֖בֶר וֶאֱלִיאֵֽל׃

veyishpan va'ever ve'eli'el

And Ishpan, and Ebed, and Eliel;

²³וְעַבְדּ֥וֹן וְזִכְרִ֖י וְחָנָֽן׃

ve'avdon vezikhri vechanan

and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan;

²⁴וַחֲנַנְיָ֥ה וְעֵילָ֖ם וְעַנְתֹתִיָּֽה׃

vachananya ve'elam ve'antotiyya

and Hananiah, and Elam, and Anthothiah;

²⁵וְיִפְדְיָ֥ה ופניאל [וּפְנוּאֵ֖ל] בְּנֵ֥י שָׁשָֽׁק׃

veyifdeya ufenu'el bene shashak

and Iphdeiah, and Penuel, were the sons of Shashak.

²⁶וְשַׁמְשְׁרַ֥י וּשְׁחַרְיָ֖ה וַעֲתַלְיָֽה׃

veshamsheray ushecharya va'atalya

And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah;

²⁷וְיַעֲרֶשְׁיָ֧ה וְאֵלִיָּ֛ה וְזִכְרִ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יְרֹחָֽם׃

veya'areshya ve'eliyya vezikhri bene yerocham

and Jaareshiah, and Elijah, and Zichri, were the sons of Jeroham.

²⁸אֵ֣לֶּה רָאשֵׁ֥י אָב֛וֹת לְתֹלְדוֹתָ֖ם רָאשִׁ֑ים אֵ֖לֶּה יָשְׁב֥וּ בִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

elle rashe avot letoldotam rashim elle yashvu virushalam

These were heads of fathers’houses throughout their generations, chief men; these dwelt in Jerusalem.

²⁹וּבְגִבְע֥וֹן יָשְׁב֖וּ אֲבִ֣י גִבְע֑וֹן וְשֵׁ֥ם אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ מַעֲכָֽה׃

uvegiv'on yashvu avi giv'on veshem ishto ma'akha

And in Gibeon there dwelt the father of Gibeon [, Jeiel], whose wife’s name was Maacah;

³⁰וּבְנ֥וֹ הַבְּכ֖וֹר עַבְדּ֑וֹן וְצ֥וּר וְקִ֖ישׁ וּבַ֥עַל וְנָדָֽב׃

uveno habbekhor avdon vetzur vekish uva'al venadav

and his first-born son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab;

³¹וּגְד֥וֹר וְאַחְי֖וֹ וָזָֽכֶר׃

ugedor ve'achyo vazakher

and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zecher.

³²וּמִקְל֖וֹת הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־שִׁמְאָ֑ה וְאַף־הֵ֗מָּה נֶ֧גֶד אֲחֵיהֶ֛ם יָשְׁב֥וּ בִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם עִם־אֲחֵיהֶֽם׃

umiklot holid et-shim'a ve'af-hemma neged achehem yashvu virushalam im-achehem

And Mikloth begot Shimeah. And they also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over against their brethren.

³³וְנֵר֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־קִ֔ישׁ וְקִ֖ישׁ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־שָׁא֑וּל וְשָׁא֗וּל הוֹלִ֤יד אֶת־יְהֽוֹנָתָן֙ וְאֶת־מַלְכִּי־שׁ֔וּעַ וְאֶת־אֲבִֽינָדָ֖ב וְאֶת־אֶשְׁבָּֽעַל׃

vener holid et-kish vekish holid et-shaul veshaul holid et-yehonatan ve'et-malki-shua ve'et-avinadav ve'et-eshba'al

And Ner begot Kish; and Kish begot Saul; and Saul begot Jonathan, and Malchi-shua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.

³⁴וּבֶן־יְהוֹנָתָ֖ן מְרִ֣יב בָּ֑עַל וּמְרִ֥יב בַּ֖עַל הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־מִיכָֽה׃

uven-yehonatan meriv ba'al umeriv ba'al holid et-mikha

And the son of Jonathan was Merib-baal; and Merib-baal begot Micah.

³⁵וּבְנֵ֖י מִיכָ֑ה פִּית֥וֹן וָמֶ֖לֶךְ וְתַאְרֵ֥עַ וְאָחָֽז׃

uvene mikha piton vamelekh veta'rea ve'achaz

And the sons of Micah; Pithon, and Melech, and Taarea, and Ahaz.

³⁶וְאָחָז֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־יְהוֹעַדָּ֔ה וִיהֽוֹעַדָּ֗ה הוֹלִ֛יד אֶת־עָלֶ֥מֶת וְאֶת־עַזְמָ֖וֶת וְאֶת־זִמְרִ֑י וְזִמְרִ֖י הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־מוֹצָֽא׃

ve'achaz holid et-yeho'adda viho'adda holid et-alemet ve'et-azmavet ve'et-zimri vezimri holid et-motza

And Ahaz begot Jehoaddah; and Jehoaddah begot Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begot Moza;

³⁷וּמוֹצָ֖א הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־בִּנְעָ֑א רָפָ֥ה בְנ֛וֹ אֶלְעָשָׂ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ אָצֵ֥ל בְּנֽוֹ׃

umotza holid et-bin'a rafa veno el'asa veno atzel beno

and Moza begot Binea; Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.

³⁸וּלְאָצֵל֮ שִׁשָּׁ֣ה בָנִים֒ וְאֵ֣לֶּה שְׁמוֹתָ֗ם עַזְרִיקָ֥ם ׀ בֹּ֨כְרוּ֙ וְיִשְׁמָעֵ֣אל וּשְׁעַרְיָ֔ה וְעֹבַדְיָ֖ה וְחָנָ֑ן כָּל־אֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֥י אָצַֽל׃

ule'atzel shisha vanim ve'elle shemotam azrikam bokhru veyishma'el ushe'arya ve'ovadya vechanan kal-elle bene atzal

And Azel had six sons, whose names are these: Azrikam, Bocru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.

³⁹וּבְנֵ֖י עֵ֣שֶׁק אָחִ֑יו אוּלָ֣ם בְּכֹר֔וֹ יְעוּשׁ֙ הַשֵּׁנִ֔י וֶֽאֱלִיפֶ֖לֶט הַשְּׁלִשִֽׁי׃

uvene eshek achiv ulam bekhoro ye'ush hasheni ve'elifelet hashelishi

And the sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

⁴⁰וַֽיִּהְי֣וּ בְנֵי־א֠וּלָם אֲנָשִׁ֨ים גִּבֹּרֵי־חַ֜יִל דֹּ֣רְכֵי קֶ֗שֶׁת וּמַרְבִּ֤ים בָּנִים֙ וּבְנֵ֣י בָנִ֔ים מֵאָ֖ה וַחֲמִשִּׁ֑ים כָּל־אֵ֖לֶּה מִבְּנֵ֥י בִנְיָמִֽן׃

vayyihyu vene-ulam anashim gibbore-chayil dorkhe keshet umarbim banim uvene vanim me'a vachamishim kal-elle mibbene vinyamin

And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers; and had many sons, and sons’sons, a hundred and fifty. All these were of the sons of Benjamin.

³⁸Azel had six sons, whose names are these: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
