¹בְּנֵ֖י לֵוִ֑י גֵּרְשֹׁ֕ם קְהָ֖ת וּמְרָרִֽי׃

bene levi gershom kehat umerari

The sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath and Merari.

²וְאֵ֛לֶּה שְׁמ֥וֹת בְּֽנֵי־גֵרְשׁ֖וֹם לִבְנִ֥י וְשִׁמְעִֽי׃

ve'elle shemot bene-gershom livni veshim'i

And these are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni, and Shimei.

³וּבְנֵ֖י קְהָ֑ת עַמְרָ֣ם וְיִצְהָ֔ר וְחֶבְר֖וֹן וְעֻזִּיאֵֽל׃

uvene kehat amram veyitzhar vechevron ve'uzzi'el

And the sons of Kohath were Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

⁴בְּנֵ֥י מְרָרִ֖י מַחְלִ֣י וּמֻשִׁ֑י וְאֵ֛לֶּה מִשְׁפְּח֥וֹת הַלֵּוִ֖י לַאֲבוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃

bene merari machli umushi ve'elle mishpechot hallevi la'avotehem

The sons of Merari: Mahli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers’houses.

⁵לְֽגֵרְשׁ֑וֹם לִבְנִ֥י בְנ֛וֹ יַ֥חַת בְּנ֖וֹ זִמָּ֥ה בְנֽוֹ׃

Of Gershom: Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son;

⁶יוֹאָ֤ח בְּנוֹ֙ עִדּ֣וֹ בְנ֔וֹ זֶ֥רַח בְּנ֖וֹ יְאָתְרַ֥י בְּנֽוֹ׃

yo'ach beno iddo veno zerach beno ye'atray beno

Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, Jeatherai his son. .

⁷בְּנֵ֖י קְהָ֑ת עַמִּינָדָ֣ב בְּנ֔וֹ קֹ֥רַח בְּנ֖וֹ אַסִּ֥יר בְּנֽוֹ׃

bene kehat amminadav beno korach beno assir beno

The sons of Kohath: Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son;

⁸אֶלְקָנָ֥ה בְנ֛וֹ וְאֶבְיָסָ֥ף בְּנ֖וֹ וְאַסִּ֥יר בְּנֽוֹ׃

elkana veno ve'evyasaf beno ve'assir beno

Elkanah his son, and Ebiasaph his son, and Assir his son;

⁹תַּ֤חַת בְּנוֹ֙ אוּרִיאֵ֣ל בְּנ֔וֹ עֻזִּיָּ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ וְשָׁא֥וּל בְּנֽוֹ׃

tachat beno uri'el beno uzziyya veno veshaul beno

Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son.

¹⁰וּבְנֵי֙ אֶלְקָנָ֔ה עֲמָשַׂ֖י וַאֲחִימֽוֹת׃

uvene elkana amasay va'achimot

And the sons of Elkanah: Amasai, and Ahimoth.

¹¹אֶלְקָנָ֑ה בנו [בְּנֵי֙] אֶלְקָנָ֔ה צוֹפַ֥י בְּנ֖וֹ וְנַ֥חַת בְּנֽוֹ׃

elkana bene elkana tzofay beno venachat beno

As for Elkanah: the sons of Elkanah: Zophai his son, and Nahath his son;

¹²אֱלִיאָ֥ב בְּנ֛וֹ יְרֹחָ֥ם בְּנ֖וֹ אֶלְקָנָ֥ה בְנֽוֹ׃

eli'av beno yerocham beno elkana veno

Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son.

¹³וּבְנֵ֧י שְׁמוּאֵ֛ל הַבְּכֹ֥ר וַשְׁנִ֖י וַאֲבִיָּֽה׃

uvene shemu'el habbekhor vashni va'aviyya

And the sons of Samuel: the first-born Vashni; then Abiah.

¹⁴בְּנֵ֥י מְרָרִ֖י מַחְלִ֑י לִבְנִ֥י בְנ֛וֹ שִׁמְעִ֥י בְנ֖וֹ עֻזָּ֥ה בְנֽוֹ׃

bene merari machli livni veno shim'i veno uzza veno

The sons of Merari: Mahli; Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son;

¹⁵שִׁמְעָ֥א בְנ֛וֹ חַגִּיָּ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ עֲשָׂיָ֥ה בְנֽוֹ׃

shim'a veno chaggiyya veno asaya veno

Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.

¹⁶וְאֵ֗לֶּה אֲשֶׁ֨ר הֶעֱמִ֥יד דָּוִ֛יד עַל־יְדֵי־שִׁ֖יר בֵּ֣ית יְהוָ֑ה מִמְּנ֖וֹחַ הָאָרֽוֹן׃

ve'elle asher he'emid david al-yede-shir bet ADONAI mimmenoach ha'aron

And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest.

¹⁷וַיִּהְי֨וּ מְשָׁרְתִ֜ים לִפְנֵ֨י מִשְׁכַּ֤ן אֹֽהֶל־מוֹעֵד֙ בַּשִּׁ֔יר עַד־בְּנ֧וֹת שְׁלֹמֹ֛ה אֶת־בֵּ֥ית יְהוָ֖ה בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וַיַּעַמְד֥וּ כְמִשְׁפָּטָ֖ם עַל־עֲבוֹדָתָֽם׃

vayyihyu meshartim lifne mishkan ohel-mo'ed bashir ad-benot shelomo et-bet ADONAI birushalam vayya'amdu khemishpatam al-avodatam

And they ministered with song before the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, until Solomon had built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem; and they took their station at their service according to their order.

¹⁸וְאֵ֥לֶּה הָעֹמְדִ֖ים וּבְנֵיהֶ֑ם מִבְּנֵי֙ הַקְּהָתִ֔י הֵימָן֙ הַמְשׁוֹרֵ֔ר בֶּן־יוֹאֵ֖ל בֶּן־שְׁמוּאֵֽל׃

ve'elle ha'omdim uvenehem mibbene hakkehati heman hamshorer ben-yo'el ben-shemu'el

And these are they that took their station, and their sons. Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman the singer, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel;

¹⁹בֶּן־אֶלְקָנָה֙ בֶּן־יְרֹחָ֔ם בֶּן־אֱלִיאֵ֖ל בֶּן־תּֽוֹחַ׃

ben-elkana ben-yerocham ben-eli'el ben-toach

the son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah;

²⁰בֶּן־ציף [צוּף֙] בֶּן־אֶלְקָנָ֔ה בֶּן־מַ֖חַת בֶּן־עֲמָשָֽׂי׃

ben-tzuf ben-elkana ben-machat ben-amasay

the son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai;

²¹בֶּן־אֶלְקָנָה֙ בֶּן־יוֹאֵ֔ל בֶּן־עֲזַרְיָ֖ה בֶּן־צְפַנְיָֽה׃

ben-elkana ben-yo'el ben-azarya ben-tzefanya

the son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah;

²²בֶּן־תַּ֨חַת֙ בֶּן־אַסִּ֔יר בֶּן־אֶבְיָסָ֖ף בֶּן־קֹֽרַח׃

ben-tachat ben-assir ben-evyasaf ben-korach

the son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah;

²³בֶּן־יִצְהָ֣ר בֶּן־קְהָ֔ת בֶּן־לֵוִ֖י בֶּן־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

ben-yitzhar ben-kehat ben-levi ben-yisra'el

the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.

²⁴וְאָחִ֣יו אָסָ֔ף הָעֹמֵ֖ד עַל־יְמִינ֑וֹ אָסָ֥ף בֶּן־בֶּרֶכְיָ֖הוּ בֶּן־שִׁמְעָֽא׃

ve'achiv asaf ha'omed al-yemino asaf ben-berekhyahu ben-shim'a

And his brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand; even Asaph the son of Berechiah, the son of Shimea;

²⁵בֶּן־מִיכָאֵ֥ל בֶּן־בַּעֲשֵׂיָ֖ה בֶּן־מַלְכִּיָּֽה׃

ben-mikha'el ben-ba'aseya ben-malkiyya

the son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchijah;

²⁶בֶּן־אֶתְנִ֥י בֶן־זֶ֖רַח בֶּן־עֲדָיָֽה׃

ben-etni ven-zerach ben-adaya

the son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah;

²⁷בֶּן־אֵיתָ֥ן בֶּן־זִמָּ֖ה בֶּן־שִׁמְעִֽי׃

ben-etan ben-zimma ben-shim'i

the son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shimei;

²⁸בֶּן־יַ֥חַת בֶּן־גֵּרְשֹׁ֖ם בֶּן־לֵוִֽי׃

ben-yachat ben-gershom ben-levi

the son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.

²⁹וּבְנֵ֧י מְרָרִ֛י אֲחֵיהֶ֖ם עַֽל־הַשְּׂמֹ֑אול אֵיתָן֙ בֶּן־קִישִׁ֔י בֶּן־עַבְדִּ֖י בֶּן־מַלּֽוּךְ׃

uvene merari achehem al-hassemovl etan ben-kishi ben-avdi ben-mallukh

And on the left hand their brethren the sons of Merari: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch;

³⁰בֶּן־חֲשַׁבְיָ֥ה בֶן־אֲמַצְיָ֖ה בֶּן־חִלְקִיָּֽה׃

ben-chashavya ven-amatzya ben-chilkiyya

the son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah;

³¹בֶּן־אַמְצִ֥י בֶן־בָּנִ֖י בֶּן־שָֽׁמֶר׃

ben-amtzi ven-bani ben-shamer

the son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shemer;

³²בֶּן־מַחְלִי֙ בֶּן־מוּשִׁ֔י בֶּן־מְרָרִ֖י בֶּן־לֵוִֽי׃

ben-machli ben-mushi ben-merari ben-levi

the son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

³³וַאֲחֵיהֶ֖ם הַלְוִיִּ֑ם נְתוּנִ֕ים לְכָ֨ל־עֲבוֹדַ֔ת מִשְׁכַּ֖ן בֵּ֥ית הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃

va'achehem halviyyim netunim lekhal-avodat mishkan bet ha'elohim

And their brethren the Levites were appointed for all the service of the tabernacle of the house of God.

³⁴וְֽאַהֲרֹ֨ן וּבָנָ֜יו מַקְטִירִ֨ים עַל־מִזְבַּ֤ח הָֽעוֹלָה֙ וְעַל־מִזְבַּ֣ח הַקְּטֹ֔רֶת לְכֹ֕ל מְלֶ֖אכֶת קֹ֣דֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁ֑ים וּלְכַפֵּר֙ עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כְּכֹל֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר צִוָּ֔ה מֹשֶׁ֖ה עֶ֥בֶד הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃

ve'aharon uvanav maktirim al-mizbach ha'ola ve'al-mizbach hakketoret lekhol melekhet kodesh hakkodashim ulekhapper al-yisra'el kekhol asher tzivva moshe eved ha'elohim

But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of burnt-offering, and upon the altar of incense, for all the work of the most holy place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

³⁵וְאֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֣י אַהֲרֹ֑ן אֶלְעָזָ֥ר בְּנ֛וֹ פִּֽינְחָ֥ס בְּנ֖וֹ אֲבִישׁ֥וּעַ בְּנֽוֹ׃

ve'elle bene aharon el'azar beno pinchas beno avishua beno

And these are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son;

³⁶בֻּקִּ֥י בְנ֛וֹ עֻזִּ֥י בְנ֖וֹ זְרַֽחְיָ֥ה בְנֽוֹ׃

bukki veno uzzi veno zerachya veno

Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son;

³⁷מְרָי֥וֹת בְּנ֛וֹ אֲמַרְיָ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ אֲחִיט֥וּב בְּנֽוֹ׃

merayot beno amarya veno achituv beno

Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son;

³⁸צָד֥וֹק בְּנ֖וֹ אֲחִימַ֥עַץ בְּנֽוֹ׃

tzadok beno achima'atz beno

Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.

³⁹וְאֵ֨לֶּה֙ מוֹשְׁבוֹתָ֔ם לְטִירוֹתָ֖ם בִּגְבוּלָ֑ם לִבְנֵ֤י אַהֲרֹן֙ לְמִשְׁפַּחַ֣ת הַקְּהָתִ֔י כִּ֥י לָהֶ֖ם הָיָ֥ה הַגּוֹרָֽל׃

ve'elle moshvotam letirotam bigvulam livne aharon lemishpachat hakkehati ki lahem haya haggoral

Now these are their dwelling-places according to their encampments in their borders: to the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, for theirs was the [first] lot,

⁴⁰וַֽיִּתְּנ֥וּ לָהֶ֛ם אֶת־חֶבְר֖וֹן בְּאֶ֣רֶץ יְהוּדָ֑ה וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֖יהָ סְבִיבֹתֶֽיהָ׃

vayyittenu lahem et-chevron be'eretz yehuda ve'et-migrasheha sevivoteha

to them they gave Hebron in the land of Judah, and the open land round about it;

⁴¹וְאֶת־שְׂדֵ֥ה הָעִ֖יר וְאֶת־חֲצֵרֶ֑יהָ נָתְנ֖וּ לְכָלֵ֥ב בֶּן־יְפֻנֶּֽה׃

ve'et-sede ha'ir ve'et-chatzereha natnu lekhalev ben-yefunne

but the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

⁴²וְלִבְנֵ֣י אַהֲרֹ֗ן נָתְנוּ֙ אֶת־עָרֵ֣י הַמִּקְלָ֔ט אֶת־חֶבְר֥וֹן וְאֶת־לִבְנָ֖ה וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ וְאֶת־יַתִּ֥ר וְאֶֽת־אֶשְׁתְּמֹ֖עַ וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃

velivne aharon natnu et-are hammiklat et-chevron ve'et-livna ve'et-migrasheha ve'et-yattir ve'et-eshtemoa ve'et-migrasheha

And to the sons of Aaron they gave the city of refuge, Hebron; Libnah also with the open land about it, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa with the open land about it;

⁴³וְאֶת־חִילֵז֙ וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ אֶת־דְּבִ֖יר וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃

ve'et-chilez ve'et-migrasheha et-devir ve'et-migrasheha

and Hilen with the open land about it, Debir with the open land about it;

⁴⁴וְאֶת־עָשָׁן֙ וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ וְאֶת־בֵּ֥ית שֶׁ֖מֶשׁ וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃

ve'et-ashan ve'et-migrasheha ve'et-bet shemesh ve'et-migrasheha

and Ashan with the open land about it, and Beth-shemesh with the open land about it;

⁴⁵וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה בִנְיָמִ֗ן אֶת־גֶּ֤בַע וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֨יהָ֙ וְאֶת־עָלֶ֣מֶת וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ וְאֶת־עֲנָת֖וֹת וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ כָּל־עָרֵיהֶ֛ם שְׁלֹשׁ־עֶשְׂרֵ֥ה עִ֖יר בְּמִשְׁפְּחוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃

umimmatte vinyamin et-geva' ve'et-migrasheha ve'et-alemet ve'et-migrasheha ve'et-anatot ve'et-migrasheha kal-arehem shelosh-esre ir bemishpechotehem

and out of the tribe of Benjamin: Geba with the open land about it, and Alemeth with the open land about it, and Anathoth with the open land about it. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.

⁴⁶וְלִבְנֵ֨י קְהָ֜ת הַנּוֹתָרִ֗ים מִמִּשְׁפַּ֣חַת הַמַּטֶּ֡ה מִֽ֠מַּחֲצִית מַטֵּ֨ה חֲצִ֧י מְנַשֶּׁ֛ה בַּגּוֹרָ֖ל עָרִ֥ים עָֽשֶׂר׃

velivne kehat hannotarim mimmishpachat hammatte mimmachatzit matte chatzi menashe baggoral arim aser

And unto the rest of the sons of Kohath were given by lot, out of the family of the tribe, out of the half-tribe, the half of Manasseh, ten cities.

⁴⁷וְלִבְנֵ֨י גֵרְשׁ֜וֹם לְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָ֗ם מִמַּטֵּ֣ה יִ֠שָׂשכָר וּמִמַּטֵּ֨ה אָשֵׁ֜ר וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה נַפְתָּלִ֗י וּמִמַּטֵּ֤ה מְנַשֶּׁה֙ בַּבָּשָׁ֔ן עָרִ֖ים שְׁלֹ֥שׁ עֶשְׂרֵֽה׃

velivne gershom lemishpechotam mimmatte yisashkhar umimmatte asher umimmatte naftali umimmatte menashe babbashan arim shelosh esre

And to the sons of Gershom, according to their families, out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

⁴⁸לִבְנֵ֨י מְרָרִ֜י לְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָ֗ם מִמַּטֵּ֣ה רְ֠אוּבֵן וּֽמִמַּטֵּה־גָ֞ד וּמִמַּטֵּ֤ה זְבוּלֻן֙ בַּגּוֹרָ֔ל עָרִ֖ים שְׁתֵּ֥ים עֶשְׂרֵֽה׃

livne merari lemishpechotam mimmatte reuven umimmatte-gad umimmatte zevulun baggoral arim shetem esre

Unto the sons of Merari were given by lot, according to their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

⁴⁹וַיִּתְּנ֥וּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לַלְוִיִּ֑ם אֶת־הֶעָרִ֖ים וְאֶת־מִגְרְשֵׁיהֶֽם׃

vayyittenu vene-yisra'el lalviyyim et-he'arim ve'et-migreshehem

So the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities with the open land about them.

⁵⁰וַיִּתְּנ֣וּ בַגּוֹרָ֗ל מִמַּטֵּ֤ה בְנֵי־יְהוּדָה֙ וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה בְנֵי־שִׁמְע֔וֹן וּמִמַּטֵּ֖ה בְּנֵ֣י בִנְיָמִ֑ן אֵ֚ת הֶעָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֔לֶּה אֲשֶׁר־יִקְרְא֥וּ אֶתְהֶ֖ם בְּשֵׁמֽוֹת׃

vayyittenu vaggoral mimmatte vene-yehuda umimmatte vene-shim'on umimmatte bene vinyamin et he'arim ha'elle asher-yikreu ethem beshemot

And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which are mentioned by name.

⁵¹וּמִֽמִּשְׁפְּח֖וֹת בְּנֵ֣י קְהָ֑ת וַיְהִי֙ עָרֵ֣י גְבוּלָ֔ם מִמַּטֵּ֖ה אֶפְרָֽיִם׃

umimmishpechot bene kehat vayhi are gevulam mimmatte efrayim

And some of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim.

⁵²וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ לָהֶ֜ם אֶת־עָרֵ֧י הַמִּקְלָ֛ט אֶת־שְׁכֶ֥ם וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֖יהָ בְּהַ֣ר אֶפְרָ֑יִם וְאֶת־גֶּ֖זֶר וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃

vayyittenu lahem et-are hammiklat et-shekhem ve'et-migrasheha behar efrayim ve'et-gezer ve'et-migrasheha

And they gave unto them the city of refuge, Shechem in the hill-country of Ephraim with the open land about it; Gezer also with the open land about it;

⁵³וְאֶֽת־יָקְמְעָם֙ וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ וְאֶת־בֵּ֥ית חוֹר֖וֹן וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃

ve'et-yakme'am ve'et-migrasheha ve'et-bet choron ve'et-migrasheha

and Jokmeam with the open land about it, and Bethhoron with the open land about it;

⁵⁴וְאֶת־אַיָּלוֹן֙ וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ וְאֶת־גַּת־רִמּ֖וֹן וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃

ve'et-ayyalon ve'et-migrasheha ve'et-gat-rimmon ve'et-migrasheha

and Aijalon with the open land about it, and Gath-rimmon with the open land about it;

⁵⁵וּמִֽמַּחֲצִית֙ מַטֵּ֣ה מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה אֶת־עָנֵר֙ וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ וְאֶת־בִּלְעָ֖ם וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ לְמִשְׁפַּ֥חַת לִבְנֵי־קְהָ֖ת הַנּוֹתָרִֽים׃

umimmachatzit matte menashe et-aner ve'et-migrasheha ve'et-bil'am ve'et-migrasheha lemishpachat livne-kehat hannotarim

and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh: Aner with the open land about it, and Bileam with the open land about it, for the rest of the family of the sons of Kohath.

⁵⁶לִבְנֵי֮ גֵּרְשׁוֹם֒ מִמִּשְׁפַּ֗חַת חֲצִי֙ מַטֵּ֣ה מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה אֶת־גּוֹלָ֥ן בַּבָּשָׁ֖ן וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ וְאֶת־עַשְׁתָּר֖וֹת וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃

livne gershom mimmishpachat chatzi matte menashe et-golan babbashan ve'et-migrasheha ve'et-ashtarot ve'et-migrasheha

Unto the sons of Gershom were given, out of the family of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with the open land about it, and Ashtaroth with the open land about it;

⁵⁷וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה יִשָׂשכָ֔ר אֶת־קֶ֖דֶשׁ וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ אֶת־דָּבְרַ֖ת וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃

umimmatte yisashkhar et-kedesh ve'et-migrasheha et-davrat ve'et-migrasheha

and out of the tribe of Issachar: Kedesh with the open land about it, Dobrath with the open land about it;

⁵⁸וְאֶת־רָאמוֹת֙ וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ וְאֶת־עָנֵ֖ם וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃

ve'et-ramot ve'et-migrasheha ve'et-anem ve'et-migrasheha

and Ramoth with the open land about it, and Anem with the open land about it;

⁵⁹וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה אָשֵׁ֔ר אֶת־מָשָׁ֖ל וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ וְאֶת־עַבְדּ֖וֹן וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃

umimmatte asher et-mashal ve'et-migrasheha ve'et-avdon ve'et-migrasheha

and out of the tribe of Asher: Mashal with the open land about it, and Abdon with the open land about it;

⁶⁰וְאֶת־חוּקֹק֙ וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ וְאֶת־רְחֹ֖ב וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃

ve'et-chukok ve'et-migrasheha ve'et-rechov ve'et-migrasheha

and Hukok with the open land about it; and Rehob with the open land about it;

⁶¹וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה נַפְתָּלִ֗י אֶת־קֶ֤דֶשׁ בַּגָּלִיל֙ וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ וְאֶת־חַמּ֖וֹן וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ וְאֶת־קִרְיָתַ֖יִם וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃

umimmatte naftali et-kedesh baggalil ve'et-migrasheha ve'et-chammon ve'et-migrasheha ve'et-kiryatayim ve'et-migrasheha

and out of the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee with the open land about it, and Hammon with the open land about it, and Kiriathaim with the open land about it.

⁶²לִבְנֵ֣י מְרָרִי֮ הַנּוֹתָרִים֒ מִמַּטֵּ֣ה זְבוּלֻ֔ן אֶת־רִמּוֹנ֖וֹ וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ אֶת־תָּב֖וֹר וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃

livne merari hannotarim mimmatte zevulun et-rimmono ve'et-migrasheha et-tavor ve'et-migrasheha

Unto the rest [of the Levites], the sons of Merari, were given, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmono with the open land about it, Tabor with the open land about it;

⁶³וּמֵעֵ֜בֶר לְיַרְדֵּ֣ן יְרֵחוֹ֮ לְמִזְרַ֣ח הַיַּרְדֵּן֒ מִמַּטֵּ֣ה רְאוּבֵ֔ן אֶת־בֶּ֥צֶר בַּמִּדְבָּ֖ר וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ וְאֶת־יַ֖הְצָה וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃

ume'ever leyarden yerecho lemizrach hayyarden mimmatte reuven et-betzer bammidbar ve'et-migrasheha ve'et-yahtza ve'et-migrasheha

and beyond the Jordan at Jericho, on the east side of the Jordan, were given them, out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with the open land about it, and Jahaz with the open land about it,

⁶⁴וְאֶת־קְדֵמוֹת֙ וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ וְאֶת־מֵיפַ֖עַת וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃

ve'et-kedemot ve'et-migrasheha ve'et-mefa'at ve'et-migrasheha

and Kedemoth with the open land about it, and Mephaath with the open land about it;

⁶⁵וּמִ֨מַּטֵּה־גָ֔ד אֶת־רָאמ֥וֹת בַּגִּלְעָ֖ד וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ וְאֶֽת־מַחֲנַ֖יִם וְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃

and out of the tribe of Gad: Ramoth in Gilead with the open land about it, and Mahanaim with the open land about it,

⁴⁹But Aaron and his sons offered on the altar of burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, for all the work of the most holy place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

⁵⁰These are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

⁵¹Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,

⁵²Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,

⁵³Zadok his son, and Ahimaaz his son.

⁵⁴Now these are their dwelling places according to their encampments in their borders: to the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites (for theirs was the first lot),

⁵⁵to them they gave Hebron in the land of Judah, and its pasture lands around it;

⁵⁶but the fields of the city and its villages, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

⁵⁷To the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of refuge, Hebron, Libnah also with its pasture lands, Jattir, Eshtemoa with its pasture lands,

⁵⁸Hilen with its pasture lands, Debir with its pasture lands,

⁵⁹Ashan with its pasture lands, and Beth Shemesh with its pasture lands;

⁶⁰and out of the tribe of Benjamin, Geba with its pasture lands, Allemeth with its pasture lands, and Anathoth with its pasture lands. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.

⁶¹To the rest of the sons of Kohath were given by lot, out of the family of the tribe, out of the half-tribe, the half of Manasseh, ten cities.

⁶²To the sons of Gershom, according to their families, out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

⁶³To the sons of Merari were given by lot, according to their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

⁶⁴The children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities with their pasture lands.

⁶⁵They gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which are mentioned by name.

⁶⁶Some of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim.

⁶⁷They gave to them the cities of refuge, Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim with its pasture lands and Gezer with its pasture lands,

⁶⁸Jokmeam with its pasture lands, Beth Horon with its pasture lands,

⁶⁹Aijalon with its pasture lands, Gath Rimmon with its pasture lands;

⁷⁰and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Aner with its pasture lands, and Bileam with its pasture lands, for the rest of the family of the sons of Kohath.

⁷¹To the sons of Gershom were given, out of the family of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with its pasture lands, and Ashtaroth with its pasture lands;

⁷²and out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedesh with its pasture lands, Daberath with its pasture lands,

⁷³Ramoth with its pasture lands, and Anem with its pasture lands;

⁷⁵Hukok with its pasture lands, and Rehob with its pasture lands;
