JPS 1917 · Jewish translation
24Seventy weeks are decreed upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sin, and to forgive iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal vision and prophet, and to anoint the most holy place.
25Know therefore and discern, that from the going forth of the word to restore and to build Jerusalem unto one anointed, a prince, shall be seven weeks; and for threescore and two weeks, it shall be built again, with broad place and moat, but in troublous times.
26And after the threescore and two weeks shall an anointed one be cut off, and be no more; and the people of a prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; but his end shall be with a flood; and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

It will be built again, with street and moat, even in troubled times.
26After the sixty-two weeks the Anointed One will be cut off, and will have nothing. The people of the prince who come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Luke 19:41-44 When he came near, he saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If you, even you, had known today the things which belong to your peace! But now, they are hidden from your eyes. For the days will come on you when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, surround you, hem you in on every side, and will dash you and your children within you to the ground. They will not leave in you one stone on another, because you didn’t know the time of your visitation.”
Galatians 4:4 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law,
Mark 13:1-2 As he went out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Rabbi, see what kind of stones and what kind of buildings!” Yeshua said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone on another, which will not be thrown down.”
How rabbinic tradition reads it
Rashi and others read the anointed one as a priest or king of the Second Temple era (Agrippa, Onias), and the 70 weeks of years as ending in 70 CE. The Talmud (Sanhedrin 97b) warns against calculating the end.
Why Messianic Jews read it as Yeshua
Whatever the exact count, the order is clear: an anointed one is cut off, then the Temple is destroyed. Yeshua was crucified around 30 CE; the Temple fell in 70 CE.
