1תְּהִלָּ֗ה לְדָ֫וִ֥ד אֲרוֹמִמְךָ֣ אֱלוֹהַ֣י הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וַאֲבָרֲכָ֥ה שִׁ֝מְךָ֗ לְעוֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד׃
tehilla ledavid aromimkha elohay hammelekh va'avarakha shimkha le'olam va'ed
[A Psalm of] praise; of David. I will extol Thee, my God, O King; And I will bless Thy name for ever and ever.
2בְּכָל־י֥וֹם אֲבָרֲכֶ֑ךָּ וַאֲהַלְלָ֥ה שִׁ֝מְךָ֗ לְעוֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד׃
bekhal-yom avarakhekka va'ahalla shimkha le'olam va'ed
Every day will I bless Thee; And I will praise Thy name for ever and ever.
3גָּ֘ד֤וֹל יְהוָ֣ה וּמְהֻלָּ֣ל מְאֹ֑ד וְ֝לִגְדֻלָּת֗וֹ אֵ֣ין חֵֽקֶר׃
gadol ADONAI umehullal me'od veligdullato en cheker
Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable.
4דּ֣וֹר לְ֭דוֹר יְשַׁבַּ֣ח מַעֲשֶׂ֑יךָ וּגְב֖וּרֹתֶ֣יךָ יַגִּֽידוּ׃
dor ledor yeshabbach ma'asekha ugevurotekha yaggidu
One generation shall laud Thy works to another, And shall declare Thy mighty acts.
5הֲ֭דַר כְּב֣וֹד הוֹדֶ֑ךָ וְדִבְרֵ֖י נִפְלְאוֹתֶ֣יךָ אָשִֽׂיחָה׃
hadar kevod hodekha vedivre nifleotekha asicha
The glorious splendour of Thy majesty, And Thy wondrous works, will I rehearse.
6וֶעֱז֣וּז נוֹרְאֹתֶ֣יךָ יֹאמֵ֑רוּ וגדולתיך [וּגְדוּלָּתְךָ֥] אֲסַפְּרֶֽנָּה׃
ve'ezuz nor'otekha yomeru ugedulatkha asapperenna
And men shall speak of the might of Thy tremendous acts; And I will tell of Thy greatness.
7זֵ֣כֶר רַב־טוּבְךָ֣ יַבִּ֑יעוּ וְצִדְקָתְךָ֥ יְרַנֵּֽנוּ׃
zekher rav-tuvkha yabbi'u vetzidkatkha yerannenu
They shall utter the fame of Thy great goodness, And shall sing of Thy righteousness.
8חַנּ֣וּן וְרַח֣וּם יְהוָ֑ה אֶ֥רֶךְ אַ֝פַּ֗יִם וּגְדָל־חָֽסֶד׃
channun verachum ADONAI erekh appayim ugedal-chased
The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; Slow to anger, and of great mercy.
9טוֹב־יְהוָ֥ה לַכֹּ֑ל וְ֝רַחֲמָ֗יו עַל־כָּל־מַעֲשָֽׂיו׃
tov-ADONAI lakkol verachamav al-kal-ma'asav
The LORD is good to all; And His tender mercies are over all His works.
10יוֹד֣וּךָ יְ֭הוָה כָּל־מַעֲשֶׂ֑יךָ וַ֝חֲסִידֶ֗יךָ יְבָרֲכֽוּכָה׃
yodukha ADONAI kal-ma'asekha vachasidekha yevarakhukha
All Thy works shall praise Thee, O LORD; And Thy saints shall bless Thee.
11כְּב֣וֹד מַלְכוּתְךָ֣ יֹאמֵ֑רוּ וּגְבוּרָתְךָ֥ יְדַבֵּֽרוּ׃
kevod malkhutkha yomeru ugevuratkha yedabberu
They shall speak of the glory of Thy kingdom, And talk of Thy might;
12לְהוֹדִ֤יעַ ׀ לִבְנֵ֣י הָ֭אָדָם גְּבוּרֹתָ֑יו וּ֝כְב֗וֹד הֲדַ֣ר מַלְכוּתֽוֹ׃
lehodia livne ha'adam gevurotav ukhevod hadar malkhuto
To make known to the sons of men His mighty acts, And the glory of the majesty of His kingdom.
13מַֽלְכוּתְךָ֗ מַלְכ֥וּת כָּל־עֹֽלָמִ֑ים וּ֝מֶֽמְשֶׁלְתְּךָ֗ בְּכָל־דּ֥וֹר וָדֽוֹר׃
malkhutkha malkhut kal-olamim umemsheltekha bekhal-dor vador
Thy kingdom is a kingdom for all ages, And Thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
14סוֹמֵ֣ךְ יְ֭הוָה לְכָל־הַנֹּפְלִ֑ים וְ֝זוֹקֵ֗ף לְכָל־הַכְּפוּפִֽים׃
somekh ADONAI lekhal-hannoflim vezokef lekhal-hakkefufim
The LORD upholdeth all that fall, And raiseth up all those that are bowed down.
15עֵֽינֵי־כֹ֭ל אֵלֶ֣יךָ יְשַׂבֵּ֑רוּ וְאַתָּ֤ה נֽוֹתֵן־לָהֶ֖ם אֶת־אָכְלָ֣ם בְּעִתּֽוֹ׃
ene-khol elekha yesabberu ve'atta noten-lahem et-akhlam be'itto
The eyes of all wait for Thee, And Thou givest them their food in due season.
16פּוֹתֵ֥חַ אֶת־יָדֶ֑ךָ וּמַשְׂבִּ֖יעַ לְכָל־חַ֣י רָצֽוֹן׃
poteach et-yadekha umasbia lekhal-chay ratzon
Thou openest Thy hand, And satisfiest every living thing with favour.
17צַדִּ֣יק יְ֭הוָה בְּכָל־דְּרָכָ֑יו וְ֝חָסִ֗יד בְּכָל־מַעֲשָֽׂיו׃
tzaddik ADONAI bekhal-derakhav vechasid bekhal-ma'asav
The LORD is righteous in all His ways, And gracious in all His works.
18קָר֣וֹב יְ֭הוָה לְכָל־קֹרְאָ֑יו לְכֹ֤ל אֲשֶׁ֖ר יִקְרָאֻ֣הוּ בֶאֱמֶֽת׃
karov ADONAI lekhal-kor'av lekhol asher yikra'uhu ve'emet
The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, To all that call upon Him in truth.
19רְצוֹן־יְרֵאָ֥יו יַעֲשֶׂ֑ה וְֽאֶת־שַׁוְעָתָ֥ם יִ֝שְׁמַ֗ע וְיוֹשִׁיעֵֽם׃
retzon-yere'av ya'ase ve'et-shav'atam yishma' veyoshi'em
He will fulfil the desire of them that fear Him; He also will hear their cry, and will save them.
20שׁוֹמֵ֣ר יְ֭הוָה אֶת־כָּל־אֹהֲבָ֑יו וְאֵ֖ת כָּל־הָרְשָׁעִ֣ים יַשְׁמִֽיד׃
shomer ADONAI et-kal-ohavav ve'et kal-harsha'im yashmid
The LORD preserveth all them that love Him; But all the wicked will He destroy.
21תְּהִלַּ֥ת יְהוָ֗ה יְֽדַבֶּ֫ר־פִּ֥י וִיבָרֵ֣ךְ כָּל־בָּ֭שָׂר שֵׁ֥ם קָדְשׁ֗וֹ לְעוֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד׃
tehillat ADONAI yedabber-pi vivarekh kal-basar shem kadsho le'olam va'ed
My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD; And let all flesh bless His holy name for ever and ever.
