Psalms 101 תְּהִלִּים

1לְדָוִ֗ד מִ֫זְמ֥וֹר חֶֽסֶד־וּמִשְׁפָּ֥ט אָשִׁ֑ירָה לְךָ֖ יְהוָ֣ה אֲזַמֵּֽרָה׃
ledavid mizmor chesed-umishpat ashira lekha ADONAI azammera
A Psalm of David. I will sing of mercy and justice; unto Thee, O LORD, will I sing praises.
2אַשְׂכִּ֤ילָה ׀ בְּדֶ֬רֶךְ תָּמִ֗ים מָ֭תַי תָּב֣וֹא אֵלָ֑י אֶתְהַלֵּ֥ךְ בְּתָם־לְ֝בָבִ֗י בְּקֶ֣רֶב בֵּיתִֽי׃
askila bederekh tamim matay tavo elay ethallekh betam-levavi bekerev beti
I will give heed unto the way of integrity; oh when wilt Thou come unto me? I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart.
3לֹֽא־אָשִׁ֨ית ׀ לְנֶ֥גֶד עֵינַ֗י דְּֽבַר־בְּלִ֫יָּ֥עַל עֲשֹֽׂה־סֵטִ֥ים שָׂנֵ֑אתִי לֹ֖א יִדְבַּ֣ק בִּֽי׃
lo-ashit leneged enay devar-beliyya'al aso-setim saneti lo yidbak bi
I will set no base thing before mine eyes; I hate the doing of things crooked; it shall not cleave unto me.
4לֵבָ֣ב עִ֭קֵּשׁ יָס֣וּר מִמֶּ֑נִּי רָ֝֗ע לֹ֣א אֵדָֽע׃
levav ikkesh yasur mimmenni ra' lo eda'
A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know no evil thing.
5מלושני [מְלָשְׁנִ֬י] בַסֵּ֨תֶר ׀ רֵעֵהוּ֮ אוֹת֪וֹ אַ֫צְמִ֥ית גְּֽבַהּ־עֵ֭ינַיִם וּרְחַ֣ב לֵבָ֑ב אֹ֝ת֗וֹ לֹ֣א אוּכָֽל׃
melashni vasseter re'ehu oto atzmit gevah-enayim urechav levav oto lo ukhal
Whoso slandereth his neighbour in secret, him will I destroy; Whoso is haughty of eye and proud of heart, him will I not suffer.
6עֵינַ֤י ׀ בְּנֶֽאֶמְנֵי־אֶרֶץ֮ לָשֶׁ֪בֶת עִמָּ֫דִ֥י הֹ֭לֵךְ בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ תָּמִ֑ים ה֝֗וּא יְשָׁרְתֵֽנִי׃
enay bene'emne-eretz lashevet immadi holekh bederekh tamim hu yesharteni
Mine eyes are upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he that walketh in a way of integrity, he shall minister unto me.
7לֹֽא־יֵשֵׁ֨ב ׀ בְּקֶ֥רֶב בֵּיתִי֮ עֹשֵׂ֪ה רְמִ֫יָּ֥ה דֹּבֵ֥ר שְׁקָרִ֑ים לֹֽא־יִ֝כּ֗וֹן לְנֶ֣גֶד עֵינָֽי׃
lo-yeshev bekerev beti ose remiyya dover shekarim lo-yikkon leneged enay
He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house; he that speaketh falsehood shall not be established before mine eyes.
8לַבְּקָרִ֗ים אַצְמִ֥ית כָּל־רִשְׁעֵי־אָ֑רֶץ לְהַכְרִ֥ית מֵֽעִיר־יְ֝הוָ֗ה כָּל־פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן׃
labbekarim atzmit kal-rish'e-aretz lehakhrit me'ir-ADONAI kal-po'ale aven
Morning by morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land; to cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of the LORD.
